Siden 2008 er Cefaly’s effektivitet blevet bevist gennem en lang række kliniske undersøgelser. Resultaterne er blevet udgivet i anerkendte videnskabelige tidsskrifter, f.eks. Neurology og Cephalalgia.

Videnskabelige artikler

Op til 2008, hvor Cefaly første gang kom på markedet i udlandet, er flere videnskabelige undersøgelser blevet gennemført på smerteklinikker, universitetshospitaler og specialiserede laboratorier over hele verden. Samlet set er der inkluderet mere end 5000 behandlinger med Cefaly i undersøgelserne, med henblik på at validere Cefaly’s effektivitet.

Herunder findes artikler med relation til neuromodulation, som er princippet bag Cefaly. Neuromodulation har været genstand for forskning siden 1960’erne, og er i årtier blevet brugt til smertebehandling samt behandling af en lang række andre lidelser.
